New Student Programs

International Student Orientation (ISO)

International Student Orientation (ISO) will be held in the Millennium Student Center on August 18 and 19 with check-in beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18. The main program will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. ISO will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed at UMSL as an international student. You will meet other new international students and current students who will help you transition smoothly to life in St. Louis. Then you will attend New Student Orientation with newly admitted domestic students on Wednesday, August 20. Please make arrangements to stay on campus until 5:00pm on August 18, 19, and 20. If you will live on campus, we recommend making housing arrangements to arrive at UMSL on Friday, August 15 or Saturday, August 16.

On the first day of orientation, please bring your passport, I-20 or DS-2019, local St. Louis address, and emergency contact information (family or friends in the U.S. or abroad who we could contact if you have an emergency) for yourself and any dependents.
